Ronald W. Shuman died peacefully at the age of 75 on July 25, 2014. A devoted husband and father, Ron is survived by his wife of 51 years, Meri; his two sons, Steve (Kim) and Scot (Barbara) and his daughter, Sherrel. Ron was a loving grandfather to five grandchildren, Madison, Cameron, Tyler, Briana and Anthony. He also leaves behind his two older brothers, Howard and Harold. Ron found great happiness and joy spending time with his family and friends. Ron was originally from Niagara Falls, New York and moved with his immediate family to Tucson, Arizona in the late 70's. He was a welder by trade and was retired. Ron was a Freemason and was active in the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls for many years. Ron was also a longtime member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church where he enjoyed singing with his wife in the church choir. A Memorial Service will be held in his honor on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in the Chapel located at 7650 N. Paseo Del Norte, Tucson, AZ 85704.
