HOF, Kristina Newton, December 27, 1950 - July 30, 2014. Kristy was born in Phoenix and lived in Tucson for 30 years. She was employed by Pima County. She loved her family and leaves behind a son, Travis Hof (Kristen); a sister, Karen Newton (Richard); and a brother, Eric Newton (Ruth); a nephew, Jonathan; a niece, Krista; and two loved dogs. Kristy loved music, especially the Tucson music scene. She volunteered for Primavera, cooking and serving meals for the homeless; she fought against the death penalty and for prison reform. She was a community activist. She is greatly missed. A Memorial meeting to celebrate her life will be held Sunday, August 31, 2014, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Pima Meeting Hall in Tucson, 931 N. 5th Ave. Arrangements by DESERT ROSE HEATHER MORTUARY.
