Kenneth Eugene Tvedt 11/3/1923 - 8/27/2014 Kenneth was born in Santa Rita, New Mexico on November 3, 1923 and passed away August 27, 2014. He served honorably in the US Air Force for 22½ years. During his service he was awarded three Air Force commendation medals for Meritorious service while assigned to the offices of the Air Attaché in North Africa, Israel and Sweden. His second career was for the U.S. Postal Service retiring as a Systems Examiner in 1986. Preceded in death by his first wife of 53 years, Margaret; his second wife, Lillian of 11 years; son, Kenneth Ray (Mary Neale) and his parents. He and his family have lived in Tucson since 1966. Survived by his son, Kristofer (Janet); daughter, Karol Sandoval (Jose); sister, Eleanor Spears; brother, Earl Roberts; five grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew Yoder, Melissa, Derek and Laura Tvedt and stepchildren, Linda Staskivige, Warren (Amy), Bill (Bev) and Richard (Cindy) Dell and ten step-grandchildren. A Memorial/Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL with Viewing at 1:00 p.m.
