Kyle Barnes FRANK

FRANK, Kyle Barnes passed away on November 23, 2016, at her Tucson home. She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota in June 1943, graduated from Ithaca College in 1966 where she majored in Pipe Organ and Vocal Performance as well as Music Education. In Tucson she became the organist and choir director at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church and taught music full time for 19 years at the school. She was then recruited to be director of music at Tucson's Saint Augustine Cathedral. In this position she assisted in the renovation of the cathedral's pipe organ, raised funds to purchase a new piano, and directed the choir. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Gerald Frank; her children, Katherine Anne Sullivan Leyva of Tucson, Amanda Frank Oliphant (Jason) of Boston, MA, Neal Frank (Andrea) of Tucson; her four (soon to be five) grandchildren and her sisters, Marjorie Anne Schey (Theodore III) of Longmont, CO and Lisa Barnes MacBain (William) of Gaithersburg, MD. The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choosing or to the Alzheimer's Association, Southern Arizona Chapter, 3300 S. Country Club, #209, Tucson AZ 85713. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 1946 E. Lee Street, Tucson AZ, across from Banner UMC Hospital on N. Campbell Ave. Arrangements by ANGEL VALLEY FUNERAL HOME.
