CAMPION, Michael John passed away at 7:55 a.m. on May 1, 2008. He was 46 at the time of his death, from respiratory complications following a short illness. Although Michael was afflicted with Down's Syndrome (a form of mental retardation) from birth, he was still a valued citizen who contributed to his community to the best of his ability. Following his graduation from Howenstine High School in Tucson, Michael began working for Jim Click Ford as a client of the Beacon Foundation. He moved from dealership to dealership, but remained within the Click organization for 17 years until declining vision forced his retirement in 2006. He was recognized with many awards for his work. Michael was especially fond of animals, and was devoted to the many family pets he encountered. Michael was also very active in his church; he served for several years as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his brother, his sister-in-law and niece in Tucson, and by his nephew in Sacramento, CA. A funeral Mass will be held at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9th 2008. An interment ceremony will be held immediately thereafter at the Holy Hope Roman Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOME Dodge Chapel.
