PFANNENSTIEL, Eleanor, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep January 3, 2011 at Silver Creek Leisure Living in Bullhead City, Arizona. Eleanor was a merchandiser for J.C. Penney and active in the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Auxilliary. She loved to dance, take long walks, crochet and sew. She is survived by a sister, Mabel Schmidt of Hays, KS; sons, Harvey (Rosalie) of Ft. Mohave, AZ, Ron of Flagstaff, Jay Dee of Gallup, NM; daughter, Renae Alimena of Tucson; eight grandchildren, Stephanie Pfannenstiel of Irvine, CA, Brooke Drury of Denver, CO, Jessica Sparks of Gilbert, AZ, Jenni Malin of Scottsdale, AZ, Christopher Estrada of Ohio, Jacob, Jason and Ashley Alimena of Tucson; ten great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be said on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., St John The Evangelist Church, 602 W. Ajo, Tucson, AZ. With interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
