Joseph M. Garcia 2/9/1943 - 4/11/2011 A loving, faithful and honest man of integrity who dedicated his life to all who knew him, his country and our Heavenly Father who has called upon him to serve as the angel he was on earth in the Kingdom of Glory. "Mikie" touched many lives and will not soon be forgotten. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benicio and Victoria Montoya Garcia; his siblings, Sadie and David Lomeli and Joe O. Garcia. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nina L. Garcia; children, Michelle, Kreg, Tony, Tina, Karina and Brian; grandchildren, Deven, Cory, Anthony, Kaitlyn, Marina, Ashton and Lorenzo; siblings, Roberta and Tony Cardona and Rita and Jim Baker and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rosary will be recited at 11:30 a.m. Mass will be offered at 12:00 p.m. at St. Andrews the Apostle Church, 800 Taylor Dr. Sierra Vista on Monday, April 18, 2011. Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews the Apostle Church Building Fund. Arrangements entrusted to DESERT SUNSET FUNERAL HOME 297-9007.
