Michelle Johanna Lorenzini 2/11/1980 - 12/13/2011 Michelle Lorenzini, beloved daughter of Thomas J. Lorenzini and Marianne Martin, lost her long battle with Muscular Dystrophy on December 13, 2011. She graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School in 1998 and attended the University of Arizona. Michelle was a former Goodwill Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Southern Arizona as well as the State of Arizona. Her courage and her bright spirit were always evident during the times when she contributed to the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethons. We will all remember Michelle as one of those special people who always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. She was a vocal supporter of animal adoptions, where she found her most loyal canine companion, Madison. She brought happiness and comfort to all those who had the pleasure to be a part of her too short life, and has left an indelible impression on all of us. Please join her family in praying for her everlasting happiness. She is survived by her father, Thomas; her mother, Marianne; her sister, Melissa Rivas; step-father, James Martin; step-sisters, Ashley and Alexis; step-brother, James; grandmother, Ellen Lorenzini, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make any memorial contributions in Michelle's name to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona at 3450 N. Kelvin Blvd, Tucson AZ 85716 or online at HSSAZ.org. There will be a Memorial Mass at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2011 at St Pius X Church, located at 1800 N. Camino Pio Decimo in Tucson, AZ. The mass will be celebrated by Fr. Harry Ledwith and Michelle's uncle, Fr. Daniel Walsh of Gowanda, NY. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ.
