Evangeline "Peachy" Cordova went to be with our Lord Sunday, September 23, 2012. Survived by husband, Antonio Cordova of 46 years and son, Daniel Estrada. Preceded in death by parents, Bennie Cruz Sr. and Dolores Cruz; siblings, Helen Barrios, Bennie Cruz Jr. and Genevieve Tapia. Van graduated from Tucson High School and retired from Lawyer Referral Service. She was a choir director for Menlo Park Methodist, traveled to Europe singing for Catalina Methodist and performed at Carnegie Hall. A skilled seamstress and quilt maker she also had a talent for making uniquely beautiful birthday cakes. She will be remembered for her love of God and enjoyment of the outdoors. She will always live in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held at Catalina United Methodist Church, 2700 E. Speedway Blvd. on Friday, September 28, 2012 with Viewing at 11:30 a.m. and Services at 12:30 p.m. and interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Road.
