Ronald J. McNeeley 70, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 27, 2013. Ron was born to the late John McNeeley and Esther McNeeley, on December 3, 1942, in Des Moines, Iowa. During the course of his life, Ron was a graduate of Rincon High School, a veteran of the USAF, a small business owner, a meat cutter, a licensed real estate agent, an expert guitar and bass guitar player (according to his band, "the best bass player in the whole wide world"), a preacher, a Bible teacher, and a mentor to almost everyone who came into his life. Ron was an ordained southern Baptist Minister, and the Music Director of Silverbell Baptist Church in Tucson, AZ. He will be remembered for his love of the Lord, his strong desire to share Jesus, the example of his life and testimony of 25 years clean and sober, and his wonderful sense of humor. He was predeceased by his oldest son, Ronald J. McNeeley in 1981. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Connie McNeeley; two sons, Richard McNeeley (Linda) and Russell McNeeley, their families and his three siblings, Dale McNeeley, Jane Gerdes and Dorothy French (Tom), along with their families and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his two dogs, Emma and Sadie. He was the best husband, dad, brother and friend in the whole wide world. A Memorial Service will be held at Silverbell Baptist Church, 3344 N.
