Gail Simpson Page Gail has passed on to join our Lord on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the age of 74. She was born in Longbranch, NJ to Mildred G. and Pierre P. Simpson. Gail attended and graduated from Atlantic Highlands High School, and achieved a B.S. degree in Education at Douglass College of Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Over a 28 year period, she taught Home Economics in the East Orange, Clark and Rumson, NJ School Districts. Before retirement, 20 years of her career was devoted to the Forrestdale School in Rumson, NJ. Gail retired in 1993 and relocated to Tucson, AZ. Throughout her retirement years, she enjoyed golfing, attending U of A sports events, cruising and a variety of other activities. For several years Gail worked as a volunteer for the Tucson LPGA tournaments. Gail is survived by loving companion, James W. Asbell; son, Michael B. Page Jr. and wife, Stephanie; sister, Jane Conover and husband, John and brother, Johnny Simpson and wife, Evette. After a Memorial Service, Gail's urn will be sent to her niche at Fairview Cemetery of Red Bank, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Desert Skies United Methodist Church at 3255 N. Houghton Rd., Tucson, AZ 85749. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the ceremony. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimer's Research fund. Arrangements by FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL.

I am so sorry to her of Gail's passing. I lived and taught with Gail for several years in East Orange NJ.(1959-1963) She was a wonderful person and we had many happy times together. I am so saddened by the news.
