What a wonderful woman that will be deeply missed by many, including me. She is with dean now, the love of her life. we should try to find comfort in that, although its hard at this sad time.

We always loved our winters spent in Tucson. All of our good times with Ardith and Dean, going out to eat together, listening to Dean and his band or just spending time with them. We also, enjoyed all our time spent with the rest of their family. We will always treasure these memories. Our thoughts are with all of the family in these days of your loss of Ardith. I think I can hear Dean playing "Yellow Rose of Texas" and welcoming Ardith to their enternal reward in heaven.

Dear Armstrong Family,

We and many, many other old-time Tucsonans do not need to tell you how sad we are at the passing of these wonderful, warm people. They are icons to any of us who ever danced to the music that personified Tucson's western heritage and flavor. Dean was a talented and humble man; Ardith his loyal supporter and companion. Those of us with long memories will revere them wistfully and Tucson as it was when it was a smaller, kinder community.

Peace and comfort to your family.
