Anne, we are unspeakably sorry for the loss of Doug. Having met him in September of 1966 during our first year at Bishop Kelley, I had the pleasure of his friendship for a very long time. Doug gave so much to those around him ... and of course most of all, to you, Tim, Beth and Sarah. Please know that Cynthia and I are sending you and your family our prayers and best wishes. We'll remember Doug always.

Doug was a dear friend of mine that I met while working at E-Partners several years ago. Doug would always make me smile and laugh by making all his "off the wall" comments. He truly was a treasured friend. I remember inviting Doug and Anne to our home on several different occasions for dinner and conversations. After several years into our friendship, I ran into Doug, Anne & their kids at my stepdaughter's wedding and was totally surprised to learn at the wedding that the Edwards were all related by marriage from my stepdaughter to her new husband (Rick & Alicia Palmer). What a small world. Anne, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family as you deal with a tremendous loss of such a great man! Doug will always be remembered to me as a wonderful caring person who could always make you laugh!

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow. I saw Doug right before Thanksgiving and it was great to catch up. Little did I know I would I would lose my wife a few weeks latter. I'm so glad she was able to meet such a wonderful guy.

I am so sorry for your loss. Doug and I grew up together just a block apart. He was a great friend and lots of fun. It meant so much to me and my family that he took the time to come to my Mother's funeral a year and a half ago. I enjoyed seeing him and catching up.
Our prayers are with the entire family.

Greg, John & Bryce......I was really touched to see Doug last year at Eva's service - that he took the time to be available and bring back
some of the black and white days of the 50's that we shared.
