Ronald Mott Obituary

TUSCALOOSA Ronald Eugene Mott, age 56, of Tuscaloosa, went to heaven September 27, 2013. He left his family and friends with precious memories of a kind hearted, loving and much loved person who will be missed so very much. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel with Rev. Reggie Kirk officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Florene Mott and his brother, Billy Joe Mott.

Survivors include his loving daughter, Elizabeth Mott Marceaux (Jacob); the love of his life his granddaughter, Eloise Marceaux, all of El Paso, Texas; sisters, Patricia Mott Strange and Kathryn Mott, both of Tuscaloosa and Joan Mott Kirk (Reggie) of Jacksonville, Ala.; nieces, nephews and friends; and his special friend, his wonderful pup “Busy”.

Ronnie was a life long resident of Tuscaloosa, an avid University of Alabama Football fan, and a total advocate of anything made in Alabama. He loved fishing, bird watching, and his vocation of driving big trucks. He loved his family and friends backing, supporting, and encouraging their dreams. But most of all he adored being “Pops” to his one year old granddaughter, Eloise.
