TUSCALOOSA Patricia Ussery Blackwell Henry, age 67, of Tuscaloosa, died November 17, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today, November 19, 2013, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Alvis Taylor officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willard L. Ussery; mother, Sarah B. Ussery; sisters, Jane McLeroy, JoAnn Kidd, Joan Gorny, Cathy Ray, and Elanor Holcombe; and brothers, David Ussery and Jerry Ussery.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald L. Henry; daughters, Tuesdai Pierce, Staci Graham and Tammy Jones; sisters, Wanda Vandyken and Cheryl Wright of Tuscaloosa; brothers, James Ussery of Nashville, Tenn., Bobby Ussery of Cottondale, Billy Smith of North Ala., and Terry Ussery of Tuscaloosa.
She was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She never met a stranger. It was a privilege to her husband.
Pallbearers will be Brian Pennington, Jacob Henry, Mark Lee and Brandon Lee.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Clifton McEntyre, Dr. Fred Graham, Dr. Thomas Patton, Dr. A. George Kudirka, Dr. Mohammad Azam, Dr. Bryan Givhan, TCSICU on 2nd floor of DCH Regional Medical Center, Glen Haven staff of Rehabilitation, Henry Properties Residence, Tara Properties Residence, a host of friends from Elks Lodge 393, Moose Lodge 804, and a host of friends from all over.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude.
