TUSCALOOSA | Jimmy M. Wall, age 88, of Tuscaloosa, died November 20, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2014, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Carl Wells and Ike Espy officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Bowers Wall; sister, Dorothy Wall Smith; and parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Reggie Wall. Survivors include his daughter, Sarah Ann Higgins (Philip) of Tuscaloosa; grandchild, William Wall Higgins of Tuscaloosa, niece, Sharyn Nunn (David) of Tuscaloosa; and nephews, Ed Smith (Deana) of Birmingham and Reggie Smith (Patricia) of Mobile. Jimmy Maurice Wall was born August 20, 1926 in Pensacola, Fla. to Emma and James Reggie Wall. Jimmy grew up in Brewton, Alabama and graduated from WS Neal High School in 1943. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country during World War II. He entered The University of Alabama in 1947 on the GI Bill and pledged Theta Chi Fraternity. After graduating with a double major in Chemistry and Biology, he served as a National Field Secretary for Theta Chi, traveling to almost every state in the nation opening new chapters. After returning to Tuscaloosa, he began his career with the VA Hospital, serving as Chief of Building Management. He married Sarah White Bowers in 1956 and they had one daughter, Sarah Ann. After his retirement from the VA Hospital in 1998, Jimmy joined Parisian and worked as a Sales Consultant for men's suits, a job he thoroughly enjoyed for 22 years. Jimmy was a true Southern Gentleman with an impeccable sense of style; he was a Godly man, a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and a loyal friend to many. "Today is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24) Pallbearers will be Ed Smith, Jr., Reggie Smith, Cody Smith, Ty Nunn, Hal Thurmond and Grayson Glaze. Honorary pallbearers are Brothers of Theta Chi, Dr. George Miller, Dr. Joseph Wallace and staff of DCH Wound Care Center, Ike and Carol Espy and members of the AGAPE Sunday School class at First Baptist Church, DCH volunteers, dear friends Jean Watson and Marcia Quarles, Cortez Burney and Kelley Lea, Ann Jones, and neighbors of Capstone Village. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Theta Chi Fraternity Foundation, Alpha Phi House Corporation, or Jimmy Wall Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 2824, Mobile, AL 36652. Watson, Infant Camden Nash - Brookwood  
BROOKWOOD | Camden Nash Watson, age 16 months, son of Dustin and Andrea Watson, of Brookwood, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Mark Tyler Watson; grandfather, Kenneth Jordan; and great-grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Dustin and Andrea Watson; two brothers, Tyler Cole Watson and Austin Madden Watson; grandparents, Ann and Kenneth Jordan, Michael and Cathy Nash, and Tim and Teresa Watson; uncles, Cody Tidmore and Jonathan Tidmore (Lindsey); aunts, Jennifer Watson (Seth Martin) and Koli Cochran (Logan); great-grandparents; and many great aunts and uncles. Cam blessed so many lives and touched many hearts. He was a constant reminder to stay strong and never give up. He was so full of love and joy, and made his family proud every day. He will be missed and loved forever. Pallbearers will be Seth Martin, Logan Cochran, Jonathan Tidmore, and Cody Tidmore. Honorary pallbearers are the teachers and staff at The Rise School of Tuscaloosa, UAB RNICU staff, doctors and staff of Children's Hospital of Birmingham, and all friends and family that kept Cam in their hearts and prayers. Worrall, Carolyn  
WAKEFIELD, R.I. | Carolyn Worrall, 76 years old, formerly of Tuscaloosa, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family in Wakefield, R.I. on November 16, 2014. She is predeceased by her husband, Jim, who passed away on October 30, 2014. She leaves behind her three children Jocelyn, Brett and Kristin; four grandchildren, Iris, Jasper, Silas and Roman; and her brother Thomas Olsen. A former elementary school teacher who grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. and lived in Del., R.I., and Ala., Carolyn was also a registered dietitian and worked for DCH Regional Medical Center 2003-2007. She was an avid player of duplicate bridge and was a Life Master. A joint memorial service for Carolyn and Jim will be held in Rhode Island in January.
