Howard T. Champion

NORTHPORT Howard T. Champion, age 74, of Northport, died Sept. 26, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy McSpadden, Rev. Allen Roggli and Eddie Hamner officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearlie M. (Maddox) Champion; parents, George Robert and Ethel Louise Champion; and brother, Robert Henry Champion.

Survivors include his daughters, Donna Renee (Marty) Weaver, Lisa Michelle Champion, and Cynthia Jo Champion; sister, Dorothy Champion Davis; grandchildren, Courtney Danielle (Kevin) Sheets, Caleb (Brandi) Weaver, and Hilareigh (Christopher) Smith; and great-grandchildren, Josie Nicole and Joseph Ty Weaver.

To a father that word's cannot describe, the love that you showed to your family, friends and anyone that you came In contact with. Daddy you provided us with love for family and others, a caring compassionate heart and wisdom. You are loved and will be loved always until we meet again.

We love you Daddy: Donna, Lisa, Cindy, Marty, Courtney, Caleb, Hilareigh, Brandi, Kevin, Christopher Josie and Ty.

Even though Weston and Asher are not here yet they will know what kind of a Great Grand Tom they had.

Pallbearers will be Marty Weaver, Caleb Weaver, Christopher Smith, Robert (Robbie) Champion, Kevin Sheets, Ray (Mater) Goodman, Collins Caddis, and Ray (Peanut) Lee.
