Bucilla Stephenson Obituary

HARLEM, Ga. Bucilla Stephenson, age 91, of Harlem, Ga., formerly of Tuscaloosa, died March 17, 2012. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Jimmy Simmons and Ken Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd W. Stephenson.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty Ann Simmons; her grandchildren, Jackie Alicea (Michael), Jean Mullis (Mitch), and Jimmy Simmons (Sharon); nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a lifetime member of the Holt community and Holt United Methodist Church. She was a media specialist for Tuscaloosa City Schools and Arcadia Elementary.
