Justin Junkin Obituary
Justin was born September 14, 1982, the only son to parents, Jeff and Joni Junkin of Tuscaloosa. Justin proudly chose to serve his country by joining the U.S. Army in 2007. He deployed twice, first to Iraq in 2008, and then to Afghanistan in 2010. Justin remained active duty until the time of his passing.
Justin is survived by his beloved wife, Heather Junkin, of Lebanon, Tenn.; his precious daughter, Adelynn Michelle Junkin; parents, Jeff and Joni Junkin (MooMoo and Grumpy); grandparents, Betty and Ray Toler; grandparents, Thresa and the late Olen Wynell Junkin; great-grandmother, Lois Toler; uncle, Gary Joseph Junkin; uncle, Jon Toler and aunt, Julia Toler; and cousins, Margret Ann Elder, Hayden Toler, Connor Toler, Liam Toler, David Junkin, and Joe Junkin.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Burial will immediately follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
