NORTHPORT | Charles A. Guzzetti, age 75 died Feb. 1, 2014, at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Northport. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 22, 2014, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Ave. in Biloxi, Miss. A graveside service will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park at 2 p.m.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael (Pete) Guzzetti, and his parents, Roy and Helen Guzzetti of D'Iberville.
He is survived by many cousins including Frank Guzzetti (Dianne) of Greensboro, N.C., Mickey Guzzetti (Carol) of Lafitte, La., Rose Woods (Jerry) of Mustang, Okla., Robert Lamb (Lynn), Terry Lamb (Dian), Alan Lamb (Aggie) of Randleman, N.C., Don Laycock (Judy) of Frostproof, Fla., Beverly Edmondson (Bobby) of Arlington, Texas, Bruce Laycock (Sylvia), Michael Laycock, Ronnie Laycock of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Ted Turner (Patsy), and Philip Turner of Northport, Ala.
Charles was born in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on June 8, 1938. He was known by family as Buddy and as Chuck by others. He graduated from Biloxi High School in 1957. He enlisted in the US Air Force on Oct. 24, 1957 and served until Aug. 25, 1961. He received his bachelor's degree from The University of Alabama in 1966.
He was a happy and fun loving person that loved to dance and he never met a stranger. Buddy was loved by many and will be missed by all that had the opportunity to know him.
