NORTHPORT | Esne H. Butler, age 81, of Northport, died January 17, 2014, in Franklin, Ga. Services will be 10 a.m. today, January 20, 2014, at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. John Drawhorn and Rev. John Verciglio officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Flower Ridge Church Cemetery in Louisville, Mississippi with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert L. Butler and three siblings.
Survivors include her daughters, Dinah Dickard Rowe and Robin DeHart; sons, Foster Dickard, Tom Dickard, Woody Dickard, and Herb Butler, Jr.; three sisters; two brothers; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Butler was a member of National Board of Realtors and retired with 32 years of service as a real estate broker. She was a member of Rotary International at Russellville, Ala. and a member of Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Butler loved her church; she was a lifetime member of United Methodist Church. She was a member of United Methodist' Women Group, choir, and especially dear to her heart was McCollum Sunday School Class. She also served as a Sunday school teacher.
Honorary pallbearers are the McCollum Sunday School Class members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Mark United Methodist Church, Hospice of West Alabama, and UMCOR.
