My hero, my strength, you continued to greet each day with a smile, “I'm fine”, and “Nothing to complain about.” We can only hope that one day our children can look up and think of us the way we look up and think of you. We are so very proud to be your children, and it is such an honor to call you Daddy.

Pallbearers will be Calvin Kelley, Eddie Smelley, Robert Lancaster, Jimmy Brittain, Roy Kelley, and Frank Kelley.

Honorary pallbearers are Susan Treadwell, Linda Degraw, Eric Reynolds and employees of Premier, George Poole, Dr. B. and Dr. Katona, Dr. Hinton, Dr. Graham, and the M.D. Anderson Center and staff.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the VA Hospice, M.D. Anderson Center, and DCH Cancer Center.
