MOUNDVILLE | Betty L. Crumley, age 72, of Moundville, died April 1, 2014, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Ray Hallman officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Sarah Redding; and her brother, Charles Redding.
Survivors include her husband, Otis Crumley, Jr.; daughters, Angie Cleary, Stacy Shaw (Chris), Rachel Free, and special niece/daughter Tammy Holbrook (Eddie); sons, Barry Stephens (Tracy), Chris Crumley (Donna) and Jason Stephens (Lori); sister, Shirley McCraw; brother, Billy Redding (Jackie); 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
"Mama Betty" was loved by all who knew her. She touched so many lives through her love and kindness. We will miss her greatly, but we know she is with all her loved ones in Heaven. Until we meet again, beautiful lady.
Pallbearers will be Chris Shaw, Eddie Holbrook, Tommy Stephens, Joel Kelley, Joey Kay and Mike Cleary.
Honorary pallbearers are Gene McCraw, Tuscaloosa County School System, Joe and Betty Shaw, Joe and Linda Farley, Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Dr. Maury Minton, and University of Alabama.
