NORTHPORT Christopher Dale White, age 28, of Northport, died July 13, 2012, at home. Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Shawn Odell officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be 90 minutes prior to services at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Lori Darden White of Northport; his daughter, Sara Katherine White of Northport; his son, Tyler Christopher White of Northport; his parents, Gwen and Arthur White of Jackson, Ala.; his sisters, Christine Young (Zach) of Jackson, Elizabeth Arensberg (J.J.) of Jackson, and Tabitha Walker (Matt) of Auburn; his grandparents, Rosalie Dumas of Gulf Shores, Lois and LeGrant Dunagan of Jackson, and Dorothy Finley of Thomasville; and his mother and father-in-law, Janice and Dave Darden of Northport.

Chris loved his family and friends very much. He was a hard worker and an avid Alabama football fan. He and Lori were able to go to the 2009 national championship game in California. Everyone who knew him loved him. He will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers will be Riley Austin, Jason Darden, Michael Casalini, J.J. Arensberg, Zach Young, Matt Walker, Anthony Wilson, and Emanuel Allen.

Honorary pallbearers are Carrie and Tracy Tidwell, Ashley Austin, Sarah and Clarence Hall, Vicky and David Goodwin, Michelle Murphy and family, Angela and Daniel Galloway, Landon Hilt, Corinth Baptist Church family, employees of Phifer Wire Products, and employees of Northport Elementary School.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to one's church or favorite charity.
