ALICEVILLE Mary Culberson Adcock, age 73, of Aliceville, died Sept. 3, 2010, at home. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Aliceville Family Worship Center with Pastor Carl Stiles and Rev. Benjamin Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Franconia-Oak Grove Cemetery with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at Aliceville Family Worship Center. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to services at Aliceville Family Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Thomas; her grandson, James Lee "Baby Jim" Konshak; and her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Adcock of Aliceville, Ala.; her daughter, Teresa Dunlap (Jimmy); her sons, Raymond Konshak, Bill Konshak, Bobby Adcock, and Jim Adcock (Brandy); and nine grandchildren, Melissa Goodson, Amanda Thompson (James), Jaime Beasley (Ben), Kaye Ballenger (Robert), Sarah Konshak, Nathan Konshak, Vicki Thomas, Michaela Konshak-Witkowski, and Tatum Adcock.
Mrs. Adcock was born July 3, 1937, in Preston, Mississippi to the late James Thomas "Tom" Culberson and Lille Mae Gibson Culberson. She was a homemaker and member of Aliceville Family Worship Center.
Pallbearers will be James Thompson, Tom Payne, Pete Puckett, Joel Culberson, Charles Miller, Kellis Bostic, Alan McCrary, and Danny Jacobs.
Honorary pallbearers are Amedisys Hospice Services staff, special thanks to Cindy Trawick and Leslie Acker, Lois Johnson, Evelyn Donaldson, Joyce Miller, Barbara Noland, David and Trina Gentry, Jeannie Pearson, Martina Hodgins, Judy Shaul, and Dr. Robbins and staff.
