PETERSON | Hosmer P. "Blue" Stanley, age 74, of Peterson went home to be with his Lord on March 31, 2014. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel with Rev. George Cooley officiating and Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel directing. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Jane Stanley.
He is survived by his love, Ronda Stanley; sons, Mark Stanley (Wanda), and Mike Stanley; daughter, Heidi Shields; step-son, Brian Stinson; sister, Sarah Stanley; grandchildren, Chance, Jordan, Hannah, Mariah, and Lake Stanley, Payton and Parker Shields; great-granddaughter, Blakley; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was a member of Lakeview Baptist church, employed at Warrior Service Co., and was known as a "Social Butterfly".
Pallbearers will be Joe Pete Hayes, Jerry Hughes, Tim Price, Mike Service, Richard McMillian, and Antonia Zamudio.
Honorary pallbearers are the employees of Warrior Service Co., Price Construction, and members of the Brookwood Masonic Lodge.
