TUSCALOOSA | Peggy Ann Scoggins Henson, of Tuscaloosa, died August 13, 2014. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 16, 2014, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Herb Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Clayton Henson; parents, Ras Thomas Scoggins and Arnettie Gauldin Scoggins; and brothers, Ras Patrick Scoggins and Ronald Terry Scoggins.
Survivors include her sons, Stephen Dale Henson and Jerry Louis Henson (Marilyn Cook Henson); sister, Betty Scoggins Humphrey of Cook Springs, Ala.; and grandson, Byron Clay Henson.
Peggy was a longtime member of Cook Springs Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ. She was currently a member of Circlewood Baptist, participating in the choir, the Handbell Choir, and the K.I.T. Club.
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Pamela Hughes, Dr. Ross Vaughn and members of the K.I.T. Club.
