VANCE Margaret C. Lowros, age 54, of Vance, died Aug. 15, 2012, at home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Bro. John Marshall officiating and Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Carlson of Saraland, and her son, Ryan Merritt of Juneau, Alaska.
Survivors include her husband, Tony J. Lowros of Vance; her daughter, Kelly Shoemaker (Chris) of Staten Island, N.Y.; her son, Tyler Lowros (Autumn) of Kimberly; her sisters, Karen Clinton of Saraland and Cheryl Ermini of Pinehurst, N.C.; her mother, Uldine Carlson of Saraland; and her grandchildren, Adelyn Lowros of Kimberly, and Tori Roberts, Cody Gudgell, Sicily Shoemaker, and Ryan Shoemaker, all of Staten Island, N.Y.
Margaret was raised in Saraland, Alabama and was a graduate of Satsuma High School. She never met a stranger. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was always there for those she loved. Margaret was the rock and core of the Happy Trails Biker Gang. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Margaret worked as office manager for Premier Service Company for 14 years. She retired from Premier in September of 2011 and enjoyed her free time with family and friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Pallbearers will be Mark Holliman, Jimmy Swain, Jeff Stone, Herb Cooper, Jackie Johnsey, and John Tillie.
Honorary pallbearers are Happy Trails Biker Gang and friends at Woodstock Festival Art Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to Woodstock Cultural Art Foundation, P.O. Box 331, Woodstock, AL 35188.
