Edwina, Robert "Sparky", Kirk and Sara: Mary Emily was one of the sweetest most beautiful people I have ever known. Her sweet, sweet spirit just radiated through her smile. Heaven is rejoicing that she came home. We will keep you and your familes in our prayers. May God comfort you and give you peace.

Sara and Family, your mother was such a wonderful lady. I'm happy I had the chance to know her and so thankful that I was able to talk to her at Emily's wedding in June. You have been in my constant thoughts and prayers.

We only knew Mrs. Sparkman through her visits to our church. It was clear that she loved and was so very proud of her Hartselle family. But in a very real sense we did know her through her fine son and his family. Their character speaks volumes about her spirit and mentoring influence. It is easy to understand what a fine lady she was. Her influence and guidance will imprint many generations, there can be no greater legacy.

It hurts my heart to know Mary Emily has passed away. I have such wonderful memories of being at Dear's house with Mimi when George Anne lived there. The swing on the front porch was the best. Love and prayers go to Rita, Mary Wallace, Patsy, Margerite,George Anne and all of Mimi's chidren and grands.
