I know this is a time of both sadness and happiness as you remember you loved one and his time with you and his accomplishments. May God give you the peach he would want you to experience in his physical absence.

Martha, you may not remember me but I worked as an intern and HR Assistant for you at NorthStar EMS in the early 2000's. I am so sorry for your loss of John. I was deeply saddened when I heard of his passing. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I think of you often. John was a thoughtful and sweet man. I always enjoyed the stories you would tell about your family while we worked together.

Sincerely,

John was one of the nicest and sweetest men I knew. I enjoyed working with him-ADFS- although he was in Tuscaloosa and I was in Birmingham. He always brought an upbeat measure to the situation at hand. I can still hear his unique voice. He definitely was a shining light to the County of Tuscaloosa as well as the state of Alabama. So grateful to have known him.

My condolences and wishing you peace and comfort. Tommy Morgan

I will be forever grateful for the time I worked for Dr. John McDuffie. He inspired, educated and made me laugh at all the experiences he had in his working life. The Tuscaloosa and surrounding areas depended so much on him and he always gave his time and vast knowledge to help. Dr. John R. McDuffie Sr. was a special person and he will be missed.
