Darlene is my cousin. We saw each other off and on as children and I remember visiting her family when they lived in Northern Minnesota. Darlene had a horse and could ride like the wind. I also remember seeing her when we were both flight attendents based in Mpls. She was so full of life. I was so proud of her accomplishments. I send my deepest sympathy and love to her entire family.

I fondly remember Darlene during my High School years at Park Center in Brooklyn Park. She gracefully accepted myself and a friend to spend the day with her at the MN State Capital at the House of Representatives. She had made time during her busy schedule to show 2 kids, who she'd never met before, what she does and how the gov't works. I will always remember her fondly for that.

My prayers and the prayers of my family go out to the family of Darlene. Since living in Brooklyn Park, she has been a sounding board when I needed to voice my opinion in regards to something going on in the state. She was a great lady and will be dearly missed by all Minnesota motorcyclists for the part she played in fighting for our rights.
