Dear Carl and Family. We feel cheated by only having met Jane & Carl at their AZ winter home in 2011, as they sold their home of ~17 yrs.& returned to MN. We have special memories as we were able to help them pack their truck and clean the house. We felt special and this sounds familiar to what others remember of Jane. We are still able to help you Carl, and just know we will treasure Jane's time with us on earth and know she is waiting to greet us in heaven. Sending each of you our heartfelt sympathy. We will miss Jane and her wonderful smile.

Dear Richmond Family, Your mom helped me get my 1st professional job at MN Mutual and I remember fondly how all of the employees loved Nurse Jane! Of course, the time I spent at your house with your mom & haircuts, helping us make "Cornish Game Hens" for our Prom dates, and all of the wonderful advice she was sure to give us no matter what the problem, she impressed upon me the importance of a career-as she was a SuperMom balancing a career & family and we all admired that in her. The weekends spent at your cabin-I loved hearing her laugh and joke around with us.
She always made me feel welcomed and loved. I will miss her dearly, but will remember all of the good memories as I'm sure you all will too.
May she rest in Peace,
Candace & Kevin Corrigan

May all of you in her family and circle of friends be comforted by your own sweet memories and the knowledge that your sadness is shared by many.

Mary Jane was such a warm and upbeat person. She was so good to me when I moved here from Rockwell, Iowa at the age of 22. Mom has preceded her in death, and I hope the two of them will be having some lively chats in heaven today!

To the Richmond Family: My heartfelt condolences on the loss of a special person in my life, and a wonderful wife and mother to my friends and neighbors for many years. I will always remember Mrs Richmond's presence in the natatorium on Friday evenings during swim meets in the early 70's as she and her husband cheered on Bill and the rest of the Highland High swim team. God Bless you, Jane, may you rest in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus, and may your family be comforted with His love during this difficult time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Richmond Family. Nurse Jane was my very first boss and I am honored to have worked with her right out Technical School back in the late '70's early '80s. She was like a second mom to me and as a 19 year old I learned so much about life and god from Nurse Jane. We all lost a wonderful person and God gained an angel! Rest in peace.

I met Nurse Jane on my first day at Minnesota Life in June of 1984. All new employees had to check in with her. During our first meeting we discovered that we had a connection. What a small world. I shared with her that I was a former teacher at Columbus High in Waterloo, IA. We discovered that I had her grand daughter, Jean Beecher, in my class. Jean also worked backstage on several plays that I directed. Nurse Jane always watched out for me and I am blessed to have made such a wonderful friend. I will always remember her fondly. Blessing to her whole family and especially Jean.
