To my wonderful cousins Darrell, Kathy, David & Kim: so sorry for your loss. Aunt Alta was such a warm and loving person. Always opening her house in South St. Paul for her country bumpkin nieces. I always enjoyed the summers as we came and stayed with her and Uncle Lavelle. I will always remember her hugs and smiles.

Darrell, Kathy, David and Kim, So sorry to hear about Alta but we all know of the great long life that she had. She is smiling at us now as we remember her and all the memories. I got so excited when you all came down to stay at Grandma's. Alta would love helping Grandma with the garden and just visiting. I have memories of all the cousins with Darrell teaching me that I could chew some of the wheat to make gum, Kathy sharing her hand-me-downs which were always more hip cause they came from the cities, David and I hanging out in Gary, and Kimmy dancing and singing with the "little sisters" . See, Alta is smiling right now. Love to all, Nancy
