Oh Tom, trust me. You are not forgotten. You added so much to my life for those last three decades. Our deep conversations about any subject enriched my life and your faithfulness to our Catholic faith challenged me in my daily walk and I am a better person because of it. See you soon good friend and meantime, pray for me that I can be an effective instrument of Our Lord here on earth.

I constantly think of Tom. He was my best friend in my adulthood. There was never a better listener, a man who shared his faith and a bit mischievous should we say. I will always miss Tom.

Unfortunately I only had the pleasure of knowing Tom and Patti for a couple of years when they visited sunny Florida. From the start I was impressed by the love and respect they had for each other. Tom was a true gentle, wise man and I feel honored to have met him. I am hoping right now he is on the first tee of that great golf course in heaven anticipating another enjoyable round. Hope you get a hole-in-one Tom. You deserve it for all that you have done for others all these years.

Pattie and family, I am very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was a great person, great golfing partner and a fun guy to be around. We always enjoyed the "dawn patrol" with Judge Shir and "the lad Mirsch" on the golf course. The many jokes, stories and lessons learned will be forever missed. My condolences to you and your family. He was a real personality that will be missed by all. Mike O'Rourke

There are no words that can express what our friendship meant to me. Tom was able to focus on the aspects of life of true substance and challenged me to be a better person. He lead by example, but never hesitated to call me on by his inimitable manner of questioning. I know that his beliefs have influenced many who were part of Tom's life and we are all better because of this wonderful man in our lives. Well Done Tom!
