I worked for John over 50 years ago in 1969. I remember what a very nice man he was. He had a sign on his desk that said "think snow" which I thought was crazy because I hated the cold. I decided I needed to embrace Winter and "think snow" to survive there. Never forgotten him.

John and I worked together in the Woodbury State Farm CSO. He was kind, soft spoken and wonderful to work with. In the summer we would take a walk down the street of the office during our 45 minute lunch. I remember his retirement with State Farm and the crowd of employees there to wish him well. Phyllis, I am very sorry for you loss.
