PATTERSON, Gerald "Jerry"  
Age 86, passed away March 11th. Survived by wife of 62 years, Constance; 2 sons, Marc and Paul (Alma); 2 granddaughters, Samantha and Lattie. Jerry served in the 11th Airborne Division. He was a manager of Community Office Relations for Northwestern Bell, President of the Northern Dakota County Chamber of Commerce and president of South St. Paul Kiwanis. Received outstanding achievement awards for United Way, a lifetime achievement award from the North Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Dakota Award recipient for volunteers with senior citizens and the mentally ill. He also was a board member of Oneida Education Center. A special thank you to Dr. Stephan Burgeson for his excellent care. A service was held in Dallas, Tx, Ft. Worth National Cemetery.

PAUL, Ronald Lewis "Bud"  
Age 84 of Forest Lake Retired Northern Pacific/BNRR US Marine Veteran - Korea. Retired after 38 years with the railroad. Passed away March 11, 2015. Preceded in death by infant son, Patrick John. Survived by wife of 59 years, Marian (nee Gelhaye); children, Therese (John) Rose, Christopher (Mary), Stephen, Matthew (Wendy), Joseph (Deb), Jeanine (John) Otte, and Sharon Paul; 13 grandchildren; sister, Donna Peterson; brother, Gregory Paul; and extended family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Church of St. Peter, Forest Lake. Interment with military honors was held in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. PERSON, Judson W. "Judd"  
Age 71, of Edina, MN died of accidental drowning March 14th while vacationing in Florida with his wife for their 37th wedding anniversary. Survived by his wife Laurel Sandberg; daughter Ann Person; sisters Margaret Person and Karen Hosch (Greg); nephew Larry Hosch (Holly); brother in law Steven Sandberg (Elaine); nephew Daniel Sandberg; niece Jill Sandberg (Rhonda Kaminsky); and grand nephews Garrett Hosch, Gavin Hosch, and Justin Sandberg. He was preceded in death by his parents Alice (nee Johnson) and Wallace Person. Judd's childhood was spent in Minneapolis, MN and Miami, Florida. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Texas and Germany in military intelligence. Judd had a long and active career in the field of information technology. He fully retired only in January of this year as a consultant project manager. Judd actively pursued his hobbies of woodworking, walking, and biking. He had a strong interest in the environment and sustainable energy resources. Judd loved his life as a devoted husband and father, active professional man, and engaged friend. He was deeply loved by his family and was on good terms with those he loved at his passing. Family and friends will be invited to attend a celebration of his life at a later date.
