Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 24, 2015. Survived by children,Ramon (Melissa), Ramona(David), Alisianna (Vicente), Rosana (Carlos), Carmen (Juan Carlos), Angela (Francisco), Rosalva, Jose (Sarah); grandchildren, Reanna, Nico, Dominic, Alejandro, Onesimo, Luisa, Jose, Ricardo, Antonio, Sofia, Roman, Cruz; great-grandchild Aundrea; sisters, Rosa (Pee Wee), Susie (Teddy). Preceded in death by Josephine Valdez; Antonio Valdez, Jr. Decorated Korean War Veteran, proud Teamsters Union member. His greatest treasure and pride is and will always be his family. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 11:00 A.M. at OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 401Concord Street. Visitation Sunday, 1-5 P.M. at SIMPLE TRADITIONS by BRADSHAW, 488 Humboldt Avenue, as well as 9:30-11:00 A.M. prior to Mass at the church. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. 651-767-9333

VAN DYKE, Marjorie Lorraine (Wurst)  
Age 93, of Saint Paul Passed away on February 21, 2015 Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Agnes Wurst; husband, William J. Van Dyke; daughter, Judith Ann Beltmann; grandson, Michael Pearson and sister, Loretta (Bill) Horwath. Survived by sons, Jim, Gregg, David; daughter, Carol (Joe) Pearson; son-in-law, Dennis Beltmann; 7 grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, dancing and being with her family. She loved her pet bird, "Baby Bird." Co-leader of St. Columba Girl Scout Troop 253. Member of St. Columba parish for 68 years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 28th at ST. COLUMBA CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1327 Lafond Avenue, St. Paul. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday, February 27th at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM-PURCELL FUNERAL HOME, 536 Snelling Ave. N, St. Paul and at the church, 1 hour before the service. Private family burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Columba Catholic Church.

Age 88, of Mendota Heights, formerly of So. St. Paul Passed away on February 15, 2015. He was the owner of Nick's in So. St. Paul for more than 60 years. Loved and missed by his wife of 66 years, Myrle; daughters, Linda (David) Snesrud, Beth Burch; grandchildren Nick (Melissa Melser), Andy, Joe Burch, Sarah (Nick) Welch; great-grandchildren Kylie Burch, Brooklin Welch. Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 28, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 700 Wesley Ln., Mendota Heights, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to donor's charity of choice.
