Age 89, of St. Paul Loving Father, Grandfather Passed away December 17, 2014. Preceded in death by loving wife of 40 years, Connie; 1 brother and 3 sisters. Also preceded in death by second wife of 23 years, Gladys. GERLITZ, Willard E.  
Age 87, of Minneapolis, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina. Willard Edward Gerlitz was born June 6, 1927 to Edward and Henrietta (Schirmer) Gerlitz in Easton, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Easton. He graduated from Delavan (Minnesota) High School, then served in the United States Army Air Force. After his military service concluded, he then worked at Cargill and Harvest States Corporation. Willard enjoyed playing tennis, taking brisk walks around Lake Calhoun, travel, reading and serving in his church. He especially enjoyed taking bus trips throughout the U.S. and Canada in his retirement years. Church was a big part of his life and he enjoyed being active in it in various ways. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Clara Gerlitz of Byron; niece, Brenda (Mike) Gray of Orlando, Florida and their children, Patrick and Amanda; nephew, Bruce (Vickye) Gerlitz of Zionsville, Indiana and their children, Bryce, Connor, Dustin and Erik; and nephew, Glenn Gerlitz of Apple Valley, Minnesota. Willard was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Henrietta; and brother, Herbert. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sunrise Senior Living and Fairview Southdale Hospital for the care given to Willard. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday (December 29, 2014) at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1720 East Minnehaha Parkway, Minneapolis. The burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Rochester, Minnesota, with Pastor Keith Meyer officiating. Age 87, of St. Paul, passed away December 25, 2014. Preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn and brother-in-law Norton Furman. Longtime St. Paul Resident Age 84 Gently passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014. Survived by children, Denise (Bill) Tyler, Jillayne (Ray) Hanson, Dawn (Rich) Merkley, James (Teresa) Goulet, Jeanine (Scott) Wolfgram; grandchildren, Kristofer (Susie) Hanson, Adam (Michelle) Hanson, Alison, Andy and Lauren Merkley, Elise and Sarah Wolfgram; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings Gordon (Rita) Moosebrugger Lloyd (Pat) Moosebrugger, Nancy (Frank) Kuettel. Preceded by husband John, parents, Charles and Cecilia Moosbrugger; brother, Grant Moosebrugger. Graduate of St. Joseph's Academy class of 1948. Donna enjoyed her time working as a tour guide at the Alexander Ramsey house for the Minnesota Historical Society. Donna also enjoyed travels and time at their cabin on Yellow Lake.
