Loving Mother, Grandmother Aunt and Friend Entered into Heaven on January 3, 2013 just short of her 87th year. Greeted by her beloved husband, Ken,; her parents; big brother, Ed, cherished sister, Geri, adored grandson, Kevin; treasured nephew, Doug; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; and dear friends. Will be missed by daughters, Linda Brockway and Colleen Galvin, grandchildren, Kristin (Jesse) Vogelpohl, Katelyn, Jack, and Lindsey Mazzitello; great-grandchildren, Aidan and Bryn; brother, Jack (Betty) Anfinson, sister-in-law and best friend, Lee Galvin; numerous nieces and nephews; and friends. Anita was a strong, independent woman who overcame many obstacles, but always had a smile on her face. She was generous to a fault. She enjoyed cooking (and cleaning!) and entertaining at her home. She was proud of going back to school in her forties to become a nurse. Family was everything to her. We are all blessed to have had her in our lives. She will be deeply missed. A special thank you to her caregivers at Lyngblomsten, and to Sue, with HealthEast Hospice, who made her last days so peaceful. Memorial Service 12:30 Saturday, January 12 at Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Ave., St. Paul. Private interment. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. 651-228-1006
