After a brief period as a homesteader in Gravelbourg (Sask.) Canada, the family relocated to NE Minneapolis in 1919. She kept active by golfing, driving and playing cards up to the age of 95. The last 3 years of her life were spent as a resident at Benedictine Health Center in New Brighton.
