Anthony Xavier "Tony" BALL

Of Apple Valley Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Veterans Day, November 11, 2013. Tony was born in Salamanca, NY. He joined the Army in 1949 serving as a member of the US First Cavalry Division and was awarded the Bronze Star in Korea for Meritorious Service in connection with military operations against the enemy. He is preceded in death by 7 siblings. Tony is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dee; sons: Leon (Kari), Dana (Antoinette), Christopher (Gabriela) and daughter, Darlene. He has been blessed with six grandchildren: Tony, Dominic, Porter, Emily, Frances, and Alexa; sister, Mary Jane Hicks; and other loving relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30am Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Mary, Mother of the Church (3333 E Cliff Rd) Burnsville. Visitation from 4-7pm Friday at White Funeral Home (14560 Pennock Ave). In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to The Mayo Clinic Cancer Research.
