"Baba" Passed away on December 28th at the age of 82 at Keystone of Roseville. She is survived by her children Ginny Stryker Brodeen (Rawley), Sara, John (Michelle), and Robert (Lynne) Stryker, and three grand daughters (and their husbands), and three great grandsons. Barbara Browne was born August 17, 1930. She was the only child of Harold and Arlene Browne of Webster Groves, Missouri. Her lifelong love of reading and sports began early as she easily read enough books as a child to earn both Cardinals and Browns "knothole gang" tickets. She later attended Grinnell College where she forged many lasting friendships and met her future husband Charlie who passed away recently. Their marriage spanned 60 years. She loved babies, small children and her dogs. She was never more content than when she held a child in her arms. Barb was an active fundraiser for the Saint Paul Children's Hospital, producing the "Free Bed Fund" cookbooks. She was a gracious hostess, a world traveler, a fabulous storyteller, and an avid angler. She was also a long-time member of the Junior Leagues of Saint Paul and Venice Florida. A private memorial service has been held for family. An open house celebrating her life is planned for the spring. Memorials preferred to Children's Hospital of Minnesota or the Suncoast Animal Shelter 6781 San Casa Drive Englewood, FL 34224.
