Of Roseville, MN Born December 29, 1922 Passed away on Dec. 30, 2012. Survived by wife of 70 years, Nedra; daughter, Letti (Charlie) Sarro and granddaughters, Gina, Kirsten and Nedra. After serving in the U.S. Army during WWII, he returned to finish his Bachelor's Degree at Texas Tech College. He continued his education earning his Doctorate in Organic Chemistry from the University of Colorado in Boulder. Buck was hired by 3M in 1952 and spent 30 years in R&D as technical manager. He was Technical Director of 3M's Disposable Product Group where he oversaw such 3M products as Carbonless carbon paper, diaper tape tabs, and scratch and sniff. Retired from 3M in 1982, Buck enjoyed golf, world travel, reading, family and a good scotch. Memorial service 11:00 AM, visitation 10:00 AM, Friday, January 11 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2048 Hamline Ave., Roseville.
