Age 88 Mendota, MN Passed away July 24th, 2013. Preceded in death by brothers, Henry, Fred, Walter, Frank, Leo, Ted, and Harold; and sisters, Lydia and Frances. Survived by sisters, Anna, Emilie, and Elizabeth; brother, Edward; sister-in-law, Shirley; and many nieces and nephews, especially Donald. Carl was a decorated WWII veteran, most notably a Purple Heart Recipient. He was the former owner of Mendota Well Company and a life member of VFW Post 6690 - Goers/Vascatke. Funeral Service 11AM, Tuesday, July 30th at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, (1807 Field Ave. , St Paul). Visitations Monday, July 29th from 4-8 PM at Klecatskys & Son's Funeral Home, 1580 Century Pt. (Yankee Doodle @ Coachman Rd.), Eagan and 1-hr. prior to the service at church. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Wounded Warriors Project.
