Age 96 San Diego, CA Garaldean died peacefully on March 11, 2013. Preceded in death by husband John, son-in-law James Parker and brother Jim Crosby. Sister Faerie Werner died April 5. Survived by children Joan Nichols (Jim), Gary Kulbitski (Lee), Kathy Parker-Kulbitski, sister Veon Kulbitski, 4 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Born May 22, 1916 in Bethlehem Iowa, she moved to South Saint Paul as a youngster and graduated from High School there. She attended the University of Minnesota
where she met and married John Kulbitski. They were married for 63 wonderful years. Gari loved all her family and spent much time passing on the stories of the family and ancestry. Gari was a devout Christian, active in many aspects of the Episcopal Church. She was on the Presiding Bishop's Committee for World Hunger Relief and president of ECW. She was very active in promoting education for women through the PEO and Girl's Friendly organizations. A memorial service will be held at St John in the Wilderness, White Bear Lake at 11:00 am on Wednesday May 22. In Lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Episcopal Relief and Development.
