James H. KORF

Age 78 of Roseville Passed away peacefully on Jan. 2, 2013 Preceded in death by parents, Gerhard and Mathilda; 7 brothers, Ervin (Agnes), Elmer, Julius (Lauretta), Jerome (Florentine), Walter (Angie) and Edmund (Virginia) and Herbert (Betty); sister, Saralda Nathe (Mike); brothers-in-law, Don Kincannon and Mike Sailer. Survived by wife of 57 years, Marian; children, Michelle, Renee Hoover (Mitch), Monte (Connie), Ramona Goodman (Kraig) and Mitch (Barb); grandchildren, Aaron, Nate, Tara, Wade, Jennah Hawes (Mike), Rosie, Grace and George Goodman, Ellie and Gage; great-grandson, Sawyer; sisters Irene Kincannon and Harriet Sailer; sisters-in-law, Marie and Betty many nieces and nephews. James was a member of St. Rose, Knights of Columbus, active in the Funeral Schola and Eucharistic Adoration. James began his 59 1/2 year career as a barber at Harvard Barbers on the University Campus and then moved to Falcon Barbers where he recently retired. Thank you to all of his colleagues and customers who were as devoted to him, as he was to them; he loved and cherished them all. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Monday January 7 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 2048 Hamline Ave N., Roseville. Visitation Sunday 4-8 PM at the Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 Hamline Ave. N. and ½ hour prior to the service at church. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
