To Ed and the Fleury family,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Joan had become a great friend and neighbor to me these past few years. I will miss my “coffee buddy”– and those pies we both loved - and evenings sitting outside on the patio. Unfortunately I just found out today that she passed away so I did not go to the funeral, and my heart is heavy because of that. Ed, she told me often how you cared for her and about her; but she didn't have to tell me as I could see it in your eyes when you talked about her. Times will be difficult, but they will get better. And please, sincerely, if there is anything you need, please let me know. I put a card inside your front door today. I wish you all peace and comfort, and I will continue to say a prayer that you all get through this difficult time.
With my deepest sympathies,
Nancy Commerford
