Age 58 of Woodbury, MN Passed Away on Dec. 13, 2012 at the VA Medical Center in Mpls. Larry served 8 years in the US Army. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Metropolitan State University and for many years he was a valued employee of Ramsey County, Chemical Health Unit Assessor, amoungst many other great accomplishments. Known as "Dapper" by many of his family and friends. Larry will always be remembered by many as the life of the party and anyone who knew him knew that you could always count on him for a good laugh. He will be missed. Larry was preceded in death by his father, D.J. Rogers and brother, Clifford Rogers. He is survived by his loving wife, Bernice; his son, Jerell; his mother, Fannie; his sister, Christine Butler and brothers, Dennis and Laron; nieces, nephews, 3 stepchildren and a host of family & friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the church or Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest, 818 Fulton St. SE, Mpls, MN 55414. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
