Lawrence F. "Larry" RYLE/RYLICKI

Retired St. Paul Fire Department WWII Marine Corps – Purple Heart Age 89 of St. Paul, MN, passed away peacefully at Regions Hospital on February 22, 2014. Wounded in Iwo Jima & earned the Silver Star. Before joining St. Paul FD, he worked for St. Paul PD. Former member of Toastmasters, the VFW, and IAFF #21. He loved to watch & feed the deer & turkeys who came to visit. Preceded in death by many siblings and his wife of 65 years, June K. in September. Survived by his sons, Lawrence R. "Larry" (Ann) of St. Paul MN, and Ronald (Kay) of Omaha NE; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Johnson (Jim) of St. Paul MN; extended family & friends. Mass of Christian Burial: 2 PM, Friday, February 28 at St. Louis Church, corner of 10th & Cedar Streets, St. Paul. Visitation, 11:00 – 1:00 PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave, St. Paul.
