Age 86 Of Roseville Passed away on January 24, 2014 due to complications of a stroke, surrounded by family. Les is preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Leslie Marie Gonyer and great grandchild, Taylor. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 60 years, Eva; sons, Leslie (Cindy) and Daryl (Donna); daughters, Kathryn Hagedorn (Tom), Marybeth Olson (Steve), and Ann Tomek (Scott); grandchildren, Kristy (Nathan), Jenny, Tim, Heidi, Kaitlin, Kerry, Danny, Nicole (Justin), Josh, Jake, Stephanie, Tyler, Tucker, and Kalley; and great grandchildren, Grace, Drew, and Kate. Les was born in Rice Lake, WI on March 10, 1927. He served in the US Navy
in World War II
. Les married Eva on June 20, 1953 and they settled in Roseville. He worked as an electrician at Claude M. Anderson Electric for 35 years. Les enjoyed travelling, golfing, gardening, and loved his Catholic faith and his family. He will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor and be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Friday, January 31, 2014 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (2048 N. Hamline Ave. Roseville) with a visitation 1 hour prior to mass. Interment St. Mary's of the Lake Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands of Minneapolis.
